When you eat low-calorie foods, your body remains malnourished. You have no energy to do any activities, and you will feel sick most of the time and this is because your metabolism rate is low.

If you want to lose weight successfully you should put in your mind two things:

1- You shouldn’t avoid calories as they are not your enemies. Calories are what provide your body with energy and nitration. Having enough food will increase your metabolic rate, which will help in losing weight.

When eating 10 pounds per day, and each apple contains about 100 calories, you won’t gain fats but if you eat 10 burgers, you will, as bad calories are those that are available in junk food.

Avoid empty calorie food which are in junk food and embrace negative calorie food like vegetables and fruits. Negative calorie food doesn’t mean that they contain no calories but means that they help to burn calories more than that you get from them and this help you lose weight.

2- Muscle building is a must: Muscles by maintain themselves burns a lot of calories, in order to gain lean muscles you should eat protein and join a gym. Protein also helps you feel full for a long time.

Eating low-calorie foods won’t provide you lean muscles, yet, you will lose muscles and this will make your body unable to burn fats as your metabolic rate will be very low, and this is the reason low-calorie diets don’t work!

This type of diet makes you lose water and muscle. You may believe that you lost a lot of weight, but you have not lost the important thing that keeps you from becoming slim which is fat! Unless you lose fat, there is no way you can become fit.
